 Indivisible Kansas City is a grassroots organization that is working to SAVE OUR DEMOCRACY. 

Many people I talk to ask me what they can do, or they say they are not into politics, or they don’t think they as one person can make a difference. BELIEVE ME YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!!

There are so many political issues facing us, but we believe the most important issue right now is to save our democracy…because if we don’t…none of the other issues, bills before state houses, complaints, etc. won’t matter…because we will be living under a regime much like Hitler created in the 1930’s…and it can happen!

There are two simple, easy things you can do. And if you do both you will invest a minimum of 1 or 2 hours a week…that’s it…our Democracy is worth much, much more!

FIGHT TO SAVE OUR DEMOCRACY

1. Attend rallies and protest. Indivisible Kansas City holds a rally EVERY Wednesday 4:30 to 6:00 pm across from Josh Hawley’s office at the Federal Court House 400 E 9th St. Downtown Kansas City. We will continue to hold this rally/protest until our Democracy is safe. There is also a rally hosted by Blue Brookside every Thursday at 1:30 P.M. at the same place every week.

2. Make calls to your representatives. Using the 5 calls.org app is easy. It has scripts to follow and takes just a few minutes of your time. If you can do this everyday if not several times a day….go to our “Who to call” page on our website to get phone numbers

Of course there are other simple things you can do …

1. Talk with friends and neighbors…spread the word…we are in a critical time in our country, and we cannot waste time. Speak out ...speak up..

2. Wear a t-shirt, a sweatshirt, a hat that states what you feel “NOT MY PRESIDENT” …:.…don’t be afraid to wear your thoughts…you will be surprised at the positive comments and smiles you receive.

3. Print out business cards…. spreading your message or our website or whatever you think will help and leave them where you go.

4. Print our flyers and leave them where you do business, at the gym, grocery store, hairdresser, barber, gas station, etc. etc.

5. Post online, join online groups, share your thoughts and feelings.Go to meetings of like-minded people….

7. Know in your heart that we will WIN!
